Pressure reducing regulators, also known as pressure reducing valves, are mechanical devices which achieve automated pressure control without an external power source.
Pressure reducing regulators reduce a high, often variable upstream pressure to a lower steady outlet pressure despite varying flow demand from the equipment it is supplying.
To match this demand, the pressure reducing regulator valve throttles, allowing more flow when demand increases and choking off the flow when demand decreases.
Pressure regulating oblique landing valves are suitable for installation on wet risers in buildings for fire fighting purposes, permanently charged with water from a pressurized supply. These landing valves are pressure reducing type designed to privide a range of outlet pressure (5 bar- 8 bar). The landing valves are classified under high pressure and are suitable for use at nominal inlet pressure up to 20 bar.
The valves are suitable for installation on fire hose reel system, tail connect to the inlet water pipe to supply water into hose reel.
