Recently, Hangzhou Fire and Rescue Detachment has carried out a series of summer fire prevention publicity activities covering communities, enterprises, commercial districts, schools and villages through the "Five Accesses" fire safety promotion mechanism, to guard against hidden dangers such as electrical fires, electric bicycle fires and gas fires under high temperature weather.
Firefighters delivered safety lectures via on-site practical training, household visits, emergency drills and brochure distribution. They explained household fire usage standards, initial fire disposal and escape skills, and demonstrated the standard operation of fire extinguishers. Targeted safety education was provided for the elderly, street merchants and enterprise staff. Fire safety reminders were broadcast on elevator screens, outdoor displays and community billboards to popularize fire knowledge among the public. The campaign effectively improves residents' awareness of fire prevention and emergency self-rescue capacity, building a solid safety barrier for Hangzhou in summer.
