Dry chemical fire extinguishers are portable and pressure storage types. Its properties can be divided into ordinary (BC) and ordinary (ABC) dry powder. The dry powder in the barrel of the dry powder fire extinguisher is sprayed out from the nozzle under pressure when in use. Dry chemical fire extinguishers are suitable for liquid fire extinguishing and live equipment fire extinguishing, especially for gas fire extinguishing. This is difficult to compare with other fire extinguishers. It can also extinguish instrument fires, but it is not suitable for precision instrument fires, leaving powder after extinguishing the fire.

How to use dry powder fire extinguishers: When a fire occurs, firefighters should quickly carry the fire extinguisher by hand or shoulder. At a distance of five meters from the burning place, the operator should first pull the safety pin to the opening handle, then hold the nozzle part at the front end of the nozzle and press the open handle with the other hand to extinguish the fire. Fire extinguishing should be carried out from far to near, from left to right. When using a fire extinguisher, one hand should always press down on the handle and not let go, otherwise the spray will be interrupted.
