1. Water-based fire extinguisher
Fire extinguishers should be placed in a cool, dry, ventilated and easily accessible area. The ambient temperature should be 4°C~+55°C, and attention should be paid to anti-freezing in winter.
Regularly check the nozzle for clogging to keep it open. Check the fire extinguisher every six months for working pressure. For air foam fire extinguishers, only need to check the pressure display gauge, if the gauge hand points to the red area, it should be repaired in time.
If the fire extinguishing agent is replaced every time or has been out of the factory for three years, the water pressure strength test of the fire extinguisher should be carried out every two years thereafter, and the water pressure strength can be continued to be used only if the water pressure strength is qualified.
2. Dry powder fire extinguisher
Dry chemical fire extinguishers should be placed in a dry, ventilated and easily accessible place near the protective object. It is necessary to pay attention to prevent moisture and sun exposure, the connecting parts of the fire extinguisher shall not be loosened, and the nozzle plug cover shall not fall off to ensure the sealing performance. The fire extinguisher should be inspected regularly according to the requirements of the manufacturer, and if the fire extinguishing agent is found to be agglomerated or the gas storage capacity is insufficient, the fire extinguishing agent should be replaced or the gas volume should be replenished.
Once the fire extinguisher is opened, it must be refilled. Refilling should be carried out by a trained person according to the requirements and methods of the manufacturer, and the variety and weight of the fire extinguishing agent shall not be replaced casually.
3. Carbon dioxide fire extinguisher
It should be placed in an obvious and convenient place, not near heating or heating equipment and in a place with strong sunlight, and the storage temperature should be -10 °C ~ +55 °C.
Regularly check the amount of carbon dioxide in the cylinder of the fire extinguisher, and if the weight is reduced by one-tenth, the canning should be replenished in time.
During the handling process, it should be handled with care to prevent impact. When using a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher in the cold season, after the valve (switch) is opened, it should not be opened and closed from time to time to prevent the valve from freezing.
Before the fire extinguisher is refilled for five years or each time, and every two years thereafter, the hydrostatic test should be carried out, and the steel stamp of the test year and month should be stamped.
4. Clean gas fire extinguisher
It should be stored in a ventilated, dry, cool and convenient place, and the ambient temperature should be 0°C~+50°C.
Do not store near heating equipment, nor should it be placed in direct sunlight and strong corrosive places.
Check the display on the fire extinguisher that shows the internal pressure every six months or so, and if you find that the pointer has dropped to the red zone, you should repair it in time.
After each use, regardless of whether there is any remaining fire extinguishing agent, it should be sent to the maintenance department for refilling, and the water pressure test should be carried out every two years before each refill, and the test can continue to be used only after passing the test.
Cleaning and maintenance of four types of fire extinguishers are common
