GUANGZHOU. Guangzhou Fire and Rescue Bureau provides all-round fire safety support for the 140th Canton Fair. Firefighting teams carried out pre-event hazard inspections of exhibition halls, covering fire resistance of decoration materials, electrical circuits, evacuation routes and emergency exits, with special fire safety training for booth contractors.
A "one module per hall" deployment is adopted. Four operational units are on 24-hour standby, together with a permanent forward fire station in Zone D and dynamic patrol zones. Fire teams also strengthen fire prevention across the surrounding community, inspecting hotels, apartments, factories and warehouses, and monitoring linked smoke alarms for rapid response.
